Little Hay Women’s Section had a very enjoyable Away Day at Whipsnade Golf Club this September. We played a competition followed by a late lunch. Seniors 3 Club Challenge

25th April 2024 The Seniors 3 Club Challenge was won by Les Perry with a magnificent 45 points and 7 pars, beating Terry Clarke and Andy McIvor by 10 points. Les (on the right) is shown receiving his trophy from Tony Grainger, Handicap Secretary.

Cruikshank Salver – 2024

Two teams of 12 Women and 12 Men contested the Cruikshank Salver on 4th March. A little wet underfoot but a nice bright day. A very close match with the Women’s Team winning 3 games and the Men’s Team winning 3, so the overall match resulting in a draw. A very enjoyable day.

All Sections Cup Results

Saturday 21st October saw the All sections Cup stableford contested between the club sections in damp conditions both underfoot and from the sky. CHES-HAY Trophy

Every year senior members of LHGC play against Cheshunt for The CHES-HAY TROPHY in memory of John Cruikshank. The Cup, known as Cheshunt Cup has been won by Cheshunt between 1996-1997, 2000, 2004-2008, 2012, 2014-2016, 2018-2009, 2022 and Little Hay 1998-1999, 2002-2003, 2009-2011, 2013, 2017. Our first summer Greensome was held on Saturday, 8 July 2023, and was again well-attended by 26 members. This event was won by Mick Milne and Bod Badman with an impressive 43 points.
