Weekending 13/02/22
Round 7 of the winter league was played over the weekend
those playing Saturday had the best of the weekend weather, although those playing Sunday almost escaped the heavy rain forecast, only having to play the last few holes in the rain.
Saturday’s best score and the best of the weekend was Mick Whelan & Kirk House’s impressive 48 points followed by Ivan Lawrence & Brian Ridgeway whose 46 points on the Sunday was just as impressive.
Another highlight of the weekend was young Thomas Ashton’s eagle on the par 5 12th.
