Little Hay Seniors faced the daunting prospect of two very difficult fixtures in July. Having been soundly beaten by Rickmansworth and Shendish Manor in the corresponding away fixtures (Both 5-1) the aim was to restore some respectability.
The team had an excellent result against Rickmansworth with the trend being reversed and Little Hay recording a fine 5-1 home win. The Seniors then played a strong Shendish Manor team that contained several familiar faces. All of the matches were hard fought but played in the right sporting spirit. It was therefore very pleasing to record our second victory in July by the margin of 4 1/2 to 1 1/2.
The Seniors travel to St Albans for their next match to play Batchwood Hall on the 5th August.
