Big Hitting Tong Tse wins Presidents Day to add to his Club Championship win a few months ago. With a birdie on the 1st followed by an impressive birdie on the par 3 4th hole, which plays some 220 yards from the championship tee, down hill to a green that I’m sure has gotten smaller over the years, followed by 11 pars giving Tong an excellent score of 39 points beating Sam Deering by 3 points.

Thursday 9th September
Not to be outdone by the men’s section the Seniors’ beat Batchwood in what was a very close match, with newly qualified senior Mick Whelan and his partner wining the 18th hole to give Little Hay a 3 /2 win.
Tuesday 7th September
Congratulations to Paul Buckoke winning the Vic Allen Charity shield, with an excellent score of 53 points, making excellent uses of his nominated double points scoring holes.
Sunday 12th September
Congratulations to Sam Deering winning the men’s scratch final beating Karl Burn 2 and 1, in what was by all accounts an excellent match.
