Women’s Section

We are a friendly welcoming group of women, who enjoy playing golf together and would like to encourage new members to join us.

Our playing days are Mondays and Wednesdays. In the past, we have also had members playing on Saturdays if they were unavailable on weekdays. That would be available again, if there is the demand.

Monday is our competition day. We have a full programme of competitions from April to November (Saturdays available if needed). From November to March there are no set competitions but we continue to play for practise and fun. It’s a good opportunity to try out team games and fun competitions as well.

Wednesday is a roll-up, which means you just come along and play. It’s a good time to practise without the stress of a competition.

In addition, our fixture list includes a number of extremely popular events with our own Senior Men’s section as well as various club competitions throughout the year which are open to all sections of the club.

There is also the opportunity to take part in various NAPGC competitions. (The National Association Of Public & Proprietary Golf Clubs). Prizes for entering these competitions could enable you to play in golf courses all over the country. (Including St Andrews!) Our club has been the proud winners of many of these competitions over the years.
